Carrier Relations Manager
As Carrier Relations Manager at Onoff, you will play a key role in shaping and strengthening our global network of telecom partnerships. Your mission is to build strategic, trusted relationships with carriers and numbering providers that ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our connectivity worldwide.
You will act as the main commercial and operational bridge between Onoff and its operator partners — aligning business objectives, technical execution, and regulatory compliance. Through proactive collaboration and data-driven management, you will secure the performance of our interconnections and drive continuous improvement in our global telecom ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for our telecom and numbering partners, maintaining strong and long-term and trust-based relationships.
Manage both commercial and technical aspects of carrier partnerships, from interconnection setup to continuous improvement of service quality, coverage, and cost efficiency.
Lead end-to-end integration projects with operators and numbering providers, including:
• onboarding new carriers or numbering suppliers,
• implementing interconnect or routing upgrades (voice, SMS, data),
• deploying new numbering ranges or regulatory features,
• coordinating testing, validation, and acceptance phases.
Oversee the full lifecycle of numbering resources (ordering, provisioning, and maintenance) ensuring availability and compliance across all markets
Follow up on carrier performance and service quality and reliability; proactively identify issues and drive resolution, in collaboration with internal and external teams.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and KYC requirements in all operating countries.
Track costs, usage, and performance KPIs to ensure commercial and technical efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (network, product, legal, finance, support) to align partner projects with company goals.
Contribute to fraud prevention, incident management, and service continuity with operators and internal stakeholders.
Provide regular reporting on carrier performance, active projects, and improvement plans to management.
Qualifications & Skills
Must-have
3–5 years of experience in telecom operations, carrier relations, or partner/account management within the voice, SMS, or data ecosystem.
Solid understanding of international interconnection, numbering management, and telecom regulation.
Experience in coordinating technical or cross-functional projects with external partners.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships across both commercial and technical levels.
Analytical mindset with attention to service quality and cost optimization.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred
Experience in cloud communications, VoIP platforms, or telecom SaaS environments.
Knowledge of telecom regulations and numbering frameworks across multiple regions (EU, North America, APAC).
Familiarity with fraud prevention, KYC processes, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in data analysis tools or reporting (Excel, BI dashboards, SQL basics).
Additional language skills, particularly French or Spanish.
